Acronis True Image can back up your entire computer to the cloud. The application's functionality is very straight forward, so you don't have to spend too much time with it. Just tell it where to back up your data and it will take care of the rest. Regardless of what happens to your computer, you will always have spare copies of your important files on the

Preparing a backup operation is quite simple. All you have to do is choose what to back up and where, on the application's clean and simple user interface. You can choose one or more disks and you can either let the default destination, which is a cloud server or you can choose another destination, on one of your local disks.

Once the source and destination are established, you only need to click a button and the application will start backing up right away. It does take some time to complete a backup process, even on more powerful machines, but you may close the application and focus on other tasks in the meantime. The software lets you set up more than one backup job, which can be quite useful if you have multiple sets of data which you need to back up on a regular basis.

Besides selecting a source and a destination, the software lets you make a series of fine adjustments, on a drawer menu. You can set up file exclusions, choose another data center location and encrypt the backed up data. More important, the application comes with a scheduler. This means that you can set it to execute your backup jobs automatically, on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

Pros

The application is capable of backing up everything on a computer. It can also encrypt the data and it lets you set up file exclusions. Another useful feature is the possibility of scheduling automatic backups.

Cons

It takes some time to complete a full backup process. Even if your Mac catches fire, you will still have access to your important data at any time.
